Making your bestow fragrance is easier than you think. Find below some steps for you to follow & have a better understanding of the process.
- Choose one Top Note
Top note is the blend's initial impression. They are usually refreshing and uplifting. These are the first ones to appear and the first ones to go away. They last around 20 minutes. They give brightness and clarity to the blend. Typical top notes are citrus oils, bergamot, peppermint, cinnamon & clove.
- Choose a Middle Note
Middle notes are the heart of the blend. They hug the blend together being the connection between the first impression of the blend and base, which will be the long lasting smell. They give body to the blend. They last around 40 minutes.
You can choose between herbs, resins & leaves.
- Choose a Base Note
Then there is the heavy smelling, they will be softer than the others but they will last longer. They will give the blend its personality. They usually last 24 hours and usually they have a strong influence on the mental, emotional and spiritual plane. They have a sedative and relaxing effect.
- Choose the character of the blend
So you already have your ingredients, now you have to choose what type of blend you want. Floral, sweet, earthy, citrusy.
- Important information
You don't need to choose 3-6 more oils, its only if you want to.
